So far I have met the other people within the program (about ten of us) and I can't complain. Note that I am the only one coming from Toronto. The campus is beautiful and my faculty is located in a new posh building just north of campus. With one week gone I can say that I'm happy with the decisions that I have made that have lead me to this path. A new life with a new beginning. Can't wait...

the beginning
With a new adventure comes a new blog which I actually promise to keep updated. For those who don't know, in two days I will turn 24 and start my new life as a Masters student at the University of Waterloo. I have to admit that I was a bit hesitant moving to a small city, but Waterloo provides the tranquility of a small town and the modernity (is that even a word?) of a big city. This past week I moved to an apartment north east of the city and I have to admit the building consists of 90% seniors and 10% students and young couples. I don't mind it at all. In fact, it provides a more homey feeling seeing the seniors smiling faces everyday in the elevator and having that friendly conversation.
