Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest should be a national holiday!! After a bumming around Saturday, the karate gang came up for their first Waterloo visit.  With no time to waste, we got ready and headed to the rec center for a huge party! An arena big party!! Although we got there by 8, within an hour the place was packed and drinks were in hand while sausages were passed around, and I'm talking about hot dogs.  I must admit that all my complaining about going to all these places and being the oldest one was heard because the average age seemed to be around 26 and the male to female ratio was about 4 to 1.  The dancing begun and who knew the polka and chicken dance would be such a success.  By one I thought my feet were about to fall off but I managed to walk over to the Spurr and end the night with the greasiest fries and really really bad karaoke.
It was truly one of those nights that everyone enjoyed themselves and although I had an amazing time with the group, the highlight had to be when I turned around and I spotted my BANKER!! Mr. Teller was standing in a nice collar shirt with a grey zip up looking as fine as ever. It was truly a take my breath away moment making me think maybe I should do something about it... hmmmmm how do you ask a teller out in a creative way?!?
ps. Shout outs to the married couple who made every guy who talked to me feel extremely awkward. I can always count on you guys for a positive reinforcement :) xoxo
